Now that I have set up my blog, I am seeing more and more possiblities. Let’s talk about first things first. I needed a way to get people to come and see it. I could send an e-mail to all my contacts and that would work, but i quickly learned that the best way to get the ball rolling is to use other “blogs.”
I chose one of the greatest, which is Facebook. That is probably why you are here, I am a member of several business clubs on Facebook and posted some invitations to see my blog there. Lets see what happens.

What do you think about the impact of blogs on business today?

The Possibilities Are Endless

I have found that the possibilities are endless. There are so many things that can be done with a blog I am literally amazed. In seconds I can reach so many people it is unreal. I found this because I wanted to see how the, e-mail to post feature works. In going through all the setting of my new blog, I found that you can actually create an e-mail, where by sending a message to it, a post would be created on you blog. That is pretty cool. This post was created that way.

Welcome to Blogging

Hey everyone,

As many of you know I am always trying to keep up on new ideas and trends in the marketing world. I decided it was time to stop talking about and reading about and giving ideas about blogging and just start doing it. Thanks to google, it is really easy.

My hope with this is to learn a little bit more about blogging and test its effectiveness in comunication, marketing and overall business use. I will be adding hints, tips, photos and who knows what else.

I may also begin to have book reviews and share some ideas on business and marketing in general. I will appreciate any coments and or feedback that I get and I hope to draw out the good knowlege and wisdom of others as well.

My first, simple tip for the day is this. It takes about 5 minutes and 0 dollars to have your own, blog! Just go to www.blogger.com and you can be up and running in no time. At the very least this will get you to open a google account ( also free) which, everyone should have these days.
