How do I get people to my site so I can make money?   This seems to be the big question to all who are entering the internet marketing world.  Well I have good news for you.  If you are doing something you love, and “adventureprenuering” you’ll have a lot of great insights and photos and videos and things to talk about that are genuinely useful to others.  That said, there is a simple two step formula for instant traffic results.

2. A brain

2. Syndicate

It’s that simple. There’s a lot of ways to get the word out there that you have a site.  Especially if you have a site with something people ought to look at, something of value. Whether you’re using social media (things like twitter and facebook), or a paid method, or maybe even just talking about it in person. The point is you have to have something worth looking at. So create content. It may be a video, audio, or article. (preferably all three). Just make sure it’s worth reviewing, it’s valuable, and gives people enough information that they feel like they’ve learned something, but not so much that they know everything. (that’s where your links come in )

Syndicate is a fancy word for ” tell everyone”. This is a whole topic in and of it’s self, but I would have at least three things in place.

1. Twitter: you can “tweet” about your new content every time you post. The more followers you have, the more dollars you’ll make.
2. Facebook: this can be a pretty big topic, there are whole books about it already. But it’s the same idea as twitter, you create some kind if content, then go and say “hey I just wrote this” or “look at this video…” You get the idea.

3. Email list/ RSS feed. It’s pretty simple to set up and invaluable to have a system in place so that all the people who have been to your blog before hand subscribed to your list, can get frequent emails from you.

That’s it. Create and syndicate and you’ll be on your way.
